		<description>Good article Ms. Whitcombe.  Though the characteristics of the middle class you describe in the opening sentences of your article, as noted by Yeoman, are now somewhat archaic.  The middle class has been, in my opinion, pretty much destroyed.  Those still in the middle class in the economic sense have nothing in common but their drive to get a bigger piece of the pie.  Their race, culture, morals, and unfortunatly family,  etc. be damned just as long as they can get the toys, and more importantly the image, of wealth.</description>
