I have some questions. My mother was born in Ukraine, my father in Brooklyn NY. We are all of Jewish descent although none of us practiced any religion. My son’s mother is Jewish as well (with a Russian and Swedish background) but my son’s wife is Rumanian. My grand-daughter is thus of a Jewish father and East European mother. The question is: are any of us white? If not, what are we?.

There are hundreds of thousands of mixed marriages in our country. What would you do about those who have one spouse Caucasian and the other Asian (quite common)? What about Spanish speaking people from Latin America who have a varying mix of Native American and Spanish ancestry?

I have five nieces. Two have a Mexican mother and a Jewish father (my brother). Two have a black father and a Jewish mother (my sister). One has a grandfather who is an Episcopalian minister, and a Jewish mother.

When you partition the US do you separate these families? And in that case, who gets New York (the greatest city in the world, IMHO)? It has more Jews than Tel Aviv, and a complete admixture of everything else. I live in Jersey City. My dentist is Vietnamese (his wife, also a dentist, is Philipina). My doctor is a beautiful woman from Guyana, and she is married to an Arab. What happens to them? How finely do you parse your “races”?. (BTW, lumping all East Asians together is not a good idea. I think the Koreans and the Japanese have some issues between them, as do the Tibetans and the Chinese, to mention a few.)

For argument’s sake, I’ll accept that there are human races (plural). But I have owned many dogs, and noticed that the pure-breds tend to the most neurotic and the least resistant to congenital diseases (I have had to put down two German Sheoherds becuase of a spinal abnormality that is very common in the breed, and causes them enormous pain). Generally, the ones with the most energy and greatest health are the mutts (or hybrids, or mongrels, if you want to be nasty about it).. I had a mixture of toy terrier and chihuahua who lived twenty years, longer by far than any of the strains from which he came. And my mulatto nieces are two of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. What do you make of this?

By the way, I see that this article appeared in the winter 2008-2009 issue of The Occidental Quarterly. Also in that issue is Richard McCulloch’s “Separate or Die.” Since I think that McCulloch is the best proponent of racial separation out there I hope that you guys will be posting his article online soon.

The fundamental problem is that members of the diverse white American peoples do not know the words to use among themselves and in public discourse to examine, debate, and establish goals and small steps along the way. It is rare indeed to hear someone begin a sentence like “As a white American, I think that….”

The “first step” is not to insist on believing in what can only be called the thick end of the wedge, it is to insist on teaching as many of the diverse white Americans as possible how to use the thin edge of the wedge which would be developing a vocabulary and issues they can practice on.
