If the stuff to be slid needs to be guided set up little guides, also removable from outside by the same following trick: close the door, the slipknots still tied and the length of dental floss passing between closed door and doorframe, your hand holding the floss's other end on the outside of the door. It's like the technique used to "build a ship in a bottle" ("get everything ready then pull on a single thread from the outside to raise the masts") -- pull the floss from the outside -- this could accomplish a lot of "shipbuilding inside the bottle," and then, since the floss is fastened with slipknots, with an additional tug it comes undone and gets all pulled out. <i>Et voilà!</i> It's magic! It is possible that it is an incorrect statement of fact, but this seems unlikely because not only was it reported in several different news accounts, but, more importantly, the Dubai government states that the door was locked from the inside in the video footage it released about the killing. Nevertheless, one would need additional facts to come to a firm conclusion. Obviously, if you can manage such a thing you increase the odds that no investigation will ever take place.
