I'm in favor of doing a print journal and the website. I also like something physical that I can stack on my bookshelf. Most people want to keep the print journal. A PDF version will be made available to those who prefer to consume their content online.

The print journal isn't going anywhere. Kevin MacDonald is the new Editor. I just got my copy of the latest issue the other day.

GS put it perfectly. I love going over my print copies of T.O.Q. Also, I've left them lying about for others to find and have a look at. Believe me, they have awakened some people. It beats haranguing someone to go to a website.

'There has been a spirited debate in our community as to whether TOQ should shift entirely from print to digital media. The new online version of the journal should provide some valuable feedback and help us resolve this question.'

If that is to be the fate of this venerable journal (of which I have a printed copy from Vol. 1, No. 1 to the present), it will be a sad day indeed. For, when/if the electronic medium succumbs to the parasitic elite, there will be no insightful essays to pass on to future generations. May TOQ continue to print its journal.

"There has been a spirited debate in our community as to whether TOQ should shift entirely from print to digital media."

I hope this is not the case. To put an end to the print version would be disappointing. Not having the satisfaction of the TOQ journal in my hands while reading outside sipping a glass of red wine is unbearable.

The thought of reading this journal solely on a laptop screen is?

...disheartening.

It might be helpful to explain what the particular niche of each website is. I'm hoping that the benefits of modularity are being weighed against the additional administrative overhead and loss of synergies which come with separating concerns. Don't let anything other than eating and sleeping get in the way of your talent as a truly prolific writer.

Critics may be correct in asserting that the movement has too many writers and not enough workers, but you're damn near the last writer in the movement who should be put to doing different work.
