My goal isn’t to depress my readers. However, I feel the need to share some thoughts I’ve had as a result of reading Roissy’s blog. I thought I was pretty tough for believing in eugenics and a meaningless universe but some of his insights are hard even for me to swallow, and not because of lack of real world evidence. Take this post about a 64 year-old serial killer who ended up engaged to an attractive 20 year-old while in prison.
He’s a 64 year old serial killer. She’s a cute 20 year old girl who may or may not be low class but, if so, doesn’t look it. She is in love. They are engaged. Let that sink in for a minute.
The commenter Marcus Halberstam mentioned in the comments to my post that the world has been getting more peaceful (by what metric? random crime or full scale warfare?) and this proves that women are not selecting thuggish killers for mating opportunities. He suggested maybe 1% of women get horny for bloodthirsty sociopaths.
1% is lowballing it. If Scott Peterson receives nearly 40 phone calls from bold women pledging their love for him on the first day of his prison term (when the techie guy who updates the software on my computer gets zero calls from women year after year) then it’s a small leap of conjecture to imagine that a lot more than 1% of women are at the very least mildly turned on by the thought of sex with a dominant alpha killer. I’d estimate more like 50% of young, fertile-age women get aroused thinking about what it would feel like to be in the presence of someone like Ted Bundy. The obstacles stopping them from acting out are social controls like shaming and the relatively small pool of available sociopathic prospects.
Men are always called out on their supposed faults. Who’s out there suggesting that attraction to mass murderers says something about the nature of women?
A commentator argues that what women may be attracted to in these prominent murders is their fame, not sociopathy. But I have a hard time believing that a single famous nerd, like say, Weird Al Yankovic, is getting propositioned as much as Scott Peterson, who ”receives nearly 40 phone calls from bold women pledging their love for him on the first day of his prison term (when the techie guy who updates the software on my computer gets zero calls from women year after year)…” Human nature is ugly. The job of civilization is to reign it in.
But it doesn’t seem to me that the sexes are equally bad. Is there any equivalent in men to attraction to pure evil in women? Until very recently, societies have wisely restricted the say that women have in public and even private affairs. Science has shown that they were right. The first society in the history of the world to have birth rates below replacement level celebrates its “progress” and calls all previous civilizations sick.
It seems that culture can tweak our preferences to a very large extent. Roissy has written about how men have come to prefer more masculine looking women over the last 60 or so years. He hypothesizes that the causes are devolution and chemicals we’re exposed to. I would suggest that conditioning to be on the look out for the possibility of short-term sex has changed what men find attractive. We’d have to think that there’s more cultural control over the preferences of women than men. The success of subcultures like gangster rap and romanticizing of criminals among other degenerates are relatively recent phenomena and good evidence of changing female taste.

I wouldn’t downplay the role of culture/environment. Androgyny and bisexuality have been heavily promoted by pop culture for the last 100 years, and it’s especially intensified in the last 50 years, what with “second wave” feminism, the homosexual movement, and the 60′s counterculture in general. Look at “gender-bending” performers like David Bowie or Alice Cooper, for example.
This is really where jewish control of our mass media comes into the equation. Look at pre-code Hollywood movies (e.g. 1932′s Blonde Venus, starring Marlene Dietrich) and you’ll see that homosexual themes were common, just as they are today. There’s a book called Voluptuous Panic which shows graphically that Weimar Germany was every bit as degenerate as our present popular culture. This is what happens when you let jews dominate your mass media.
Which is not to say that biological factors like soy in infant formula haven’t also played a role in feminizing men.

However my friend, don’t take ‘Roissy’ all that seriously, since he is a DELUSIONAL lounge lizard, let’s face it.
