Interview with Harold Covington, Part 1
TOQ: Could you give us a brief autobiography and tell us how you became involved in White Nationalism?
Harold Covington: I was born in Burlington, North Carolina in 1953. I had my first dose of racial reality at age 15 when I was thrown into an integrated high school in Chapel Hill, NC which was bad by the standards of the day (1968) but which of course was a kindergarten compared to the racial situation that exists in our schools today. All we had to worry about back in my time was blacks with knives rather than organized gangs and drug dealers armed with semi-autos, and of course there were the hippy-dippy SDS type radicals, many of whom I noticed even at the time appeared to be Jews. Homosexuals didn’t even come into the equation back in those days, and the drugs at school were just beer and grass and LSD, not ecstasy or coke or crack.
I won’t go off into a long digression about the various horrible racial experiences I had in high school, but on the day I finally left there, I looked back and made a silent personal vow that I would devote my life somehow to making sure that no young White person ever again had to go through what I had to go through in that place. Again, I didn’t realize how relatively mild my problems had been and how terrible things would become in my lifetime.
For reasons I won’t get into, basically having to do with the fact that my father was a psychopath, he ordered me out of the family home and I went into the United States army at 17. My experiences in the military provided a further dose of racial reality, although once again I understand they were nothing compared to what young White enlistees go through nowadays when the military has in desperation lowered the recruitment criteria to include drug addicts, criminals, gang-bangers, etc.
I did my basic at Fort Polk, Louisiana and then was sent for infantry training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Ranger School at Fort Benning, Georgia. At Fort Jackson I picked up a paperback book in the day room called The Order of the Death’s Head, by a German named Heinze Höhne. Rare among studies of the Third Reich, the book was actually reasonably objective, and it had the effect of more or less converting me to National Socialism. I remain a National Socialist in my personal outlook to this day. While I was stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii I joined the National Socialist White People’s Party (NSWPP), which was founded by George Lincoln Rockwell, and was then run by a man named Matt Koehl. I formed a unit of a Party front group called the White Servicemen’s League and ended up getting discharged early, albeit under honorable conditions. Nowadays, of course, I’d probably end up in Leavenworth for it.
After I got out of the army I served on permanent NSWPP staff at the headquarters in El Monte, California under the now-legendary Lt. Joseph Tommasi, who was murdered in 1975. I then became editor of the Party newspaper White Power in Arlington, Virginia. In 1974 I worked for a construction company in Johannesburg, South Africa for about six months, and then went to Rhodesia and joined the Rhodesian Army. In 1976 I was deported from Rhodesia for my activities with the proto-NS Rhodesia White People’s Party, along with two of my fellow Americans, Eric Thomson and Jeffrey Spencer. That’s an interesting example of conservatives being our true worst enemy. I was deported on the personal orders of Ian Smith, and we all know what Mr. Smith’s conservatism did to Rhodesia.
From then on it was the usual long Movement history of different groups, different approaches, all of them pretty much dead ends because there basically isn’t anything that can be done on an all-America basis in order to reverse the terminal decline of Western civilization on this continent, at least not without the use of a level of armed force which practically speaking, the Movement will never have at its disposal.
In 1982 I more or less went on the run for five years due to a legal situation which I’m still not certain it’s completely safe for me to get into, given the paranoid nature of our lords and masters these days and their eagerness to find something, anything, to use as an excuse to plop me down in the cell next to Bill White and Matt Hale. I ended up in Ireland, which at that time had no extradition treaty with the USA, due to the embarrassment and political complications for the Dublin government which would be caused by possibly extraditing IRA men back and forth across the Atlantic.
I learned a lot in Ireland. I didn’t just hang out in pubs guzzling Guinness; I read all the newspapers and watched RTE and BBC Northern Ireland, I made trips into the North, I talked to certain people (very carefully) and I sat quietly in certain known IRA pubs nursing a pint or two of Smithwick’s, listening and observing very carefully. Basically, in Ireland, I saw how it’s done in the modern world, not in 1930s Germany, and it was an invaluable education.
It’s true the IRA didn’t win in the main sense of the term, but Communists though they are (and I know that) this small band of dedicated White working class men and women fought a major Western democratic military power to a standstill, and forced the Brits to buy them off instead of crushing them. Like Rocky Balboa, they went a full fifteen rounds with Godzilla and they were still standing at the end of it. The lesson I draw from this and other events in the past 20 years is that it can be done.
In 2000, in the aftermath of what Morris Dees did to Pastor Butler, I finally came out openly for territorial White separatism in the form of the Northwest Imperative.
TOQ: Can you explain the Northwest Imperative, and tell us how you came to believe in it?
Harold Covington: The Northwest Imperative is based on the conviction, an accurate one, that the United States of America in its present form is doomed, and that it is necessary to the physical survival of the White race that we establish a Homeland for all of our people worldwide somewhere on the North American continent. Economics, demographics, and logistics dictate that the best location for such a Homeland is here in the Pacific Northwest. In addition, we have a long history here of commitment and martyrdom here in the Northwest: Bob Mathews and the Order men, Sam and Vicky Weaver, Gordon Kahl, and our latest martyr from the Northwest Front, Jeff Hughes of Vancouver, Canada.
The essence of the Northwest Idea is to reduce the problem to manageable proportions. We are simply too weak, disorganized, and too few to take over the United States, and we need to accept that just ain’t gonna happen. Instead of a whole huge continent and 300 million mostly hostile people to worry about, we reduce the problem geographically and demographically to three and a half states with about 12 million people, mostly White. Given the inevitable coming implosion of the United States and the collapse of the central authority in Washington D.C., when they run out of money to pay their mercenaries, bureaucrats, and enforcers, the Northwest Imperative is do-able in a way that no other plan we’ve ever come up with is do-able.
The Northwest Imperative also reduces the problem to that of a colonial war, and there are numerous models from the last century as to how to wage and win a colonial war. The objective is to make the disputed territory ungovernable and turn it into a massive rathole down which the occupying power bleeds money, manpower, and resources until it can’t stand the hemorrhage any longer and cuts its losses. The most important statement in any of my Northwest novels, so important that I have various characters say it over and over again in all four books, is this: “In a colonial war, it’s never the generals who surrender. It’s the accountants.”
TOQ: Can you tell us what you are doing to promote the idea of a Northwest homeland and to prepare for its concrete realization?
Harold Covington: We have formed the “Party” of the Northwest novels, called the Northwest Front, although it isn’t really a Party yet and probably won’t be for some time. Right now it’s just what the name says, a broad front rather than a party. We have participation from people who are involved with other groups and from people who are involved with none. There is no formal membership status, no chain of command, and no hierarchy. We provide what support we can to anyone who lives here or who is willing to come here to the Homeland and work for Northwest independence.
Eventually that will have to change, of course. Eventually there must be a disciplined, fighting revolutionary Party of political soldiers, but that’s going to take us a while. White Americans are the sloppiest, laziest, most narcissistic and most undisciplined people in the world, and they simply can’t wrap their minds around a European concept such as the political soldier. Not yet. They will have to change, or they will perish from the earth.

Perhaps a bit OT: I don´t know as much about IRA as I probably ought to. How Jew infested is their communism? Is it a hidden Jewish takeover (like early Soviet) or is it true working class revolt?
As opposed to Greg’s friend who hopes he never has to use them…I am the reverse.
However, as an old lefty, that is old, and former lefty (ethical socialist/anti-communist), I have heard this talk all my life, of course from the left point of view.
Having sobered up re the Human Condition, and consequently being now a racial rightist, and perhaps maybe still a romantic…I find Covington’s material highly romantic, if not histrionic. Also, there is much nay-saying about this man which must be recognized.
I cannot imagine anything like what he describes. First, as someone who has been in the army briefly and trained on 105 howitzers, with just a little imagination…no need for combat experience…I know what heavy weapons can do. Never mind drone aircraft, satellites, special forces talent, etc. (By the way, I talked recently to someone who relates recent experience of his army friend whose unit went to Israel to be instructed by the IDF. He says the Israelis are soft, pudgy, tardy, and a joke , to him, as a special forces guy.)
Small guerilla forces have not got a chance against our white brother US soldiers and their numbers, gear, etc.
That is , the military as presently constituted. Politically we cannot predict what will happen. If things get so wild as to “make a clearing” politically, then a secessionist movement makes some sense. But it will be political, not military. Once the political opening is secured with a very large following, think Germany, then it is permissable to defend militarily if the larger US situation is broken down ,with US Army, etc. refusing to fire on us.. Who would be the military targets? Not the US army, etc. Non-Whites and white traitors, etc. yes.
The only thing foreseeable for me is immigration battles . There is huge popular hatred growing, particularly in the southwest border states. Angry white guys got guns, and the first people they shoot will be their politicians who are race traitors. Where this goes, I dunno. Also, the Black and Brown education disaster is quickly turning into a nightmare for the liberals who are screaming at one-another as to who is at fault for black/brown failure. The teachers are even being called racist…these , the dopiest liberals going who have ‘given their lives’ to the wretched…are the first to be blamed….revolution devouring its children. This culture war between cultural bolshevism and biological Reality is going to go quickly to the boiling point. That is where the action is today…and immigration.
Intellectually and politically, we should be attending to these present ‘contradictions’ between liberal fantasy/hysteria (especially amongst our women), and biological reality. We should also be demanding peaceful schools for our children and not the racial battlefield and educational turmoil/propaganda that currently characterizes most of our schools. California is the most at war in this regard.
Immigration and Race , no matter how obfuscated by our enemies, is coming into focus for whites. Going from implicit to explicit, and so on.
I also do not foresee general economic breakdown. There could be a wimpering decline for most folks, but I just do not see a big bang. The US enjoyed its economic semi-century after the industrial world was turned to partial rubble in the war. Now that is over and we have to compete with folks as smart and smarter than us on the level playing field.
Finally I admit that I do not want to concede the southwest to the savages. They would not last 3 weeks with White soldiers…the army, etc. driving them south. The grey-heads of my generation are starting to die off. That would be the first demographic wave of
liberalism. The second wave is in power now, and they are beginning to feel the contradictions, even if they cannot consciously recognize them, They , like obamination, send their kids to white schools if they can afford it. Liberal ideological hegemony is decomposing…a little, but when it catches fire…there will be large realignments, especially in the Republican Party. Those who listen to Limbaugh and Savage will emotionally, if not intellectually , proceed to the next step…race. Joe Webb
All I can really say is..the mexican waves of migration have taken and held big portions of land in a big handful of states. Migration works. We see a very real example of this here in the southwest.

In another article, about the Tea Party documentary Mr. Johnson said to the effect that as long as the Right plays the PC game they are doomed.
True.
But I would add, as long as White rely solely on the Right, we too are doomed.
I can’t believe there are Whites who still think the best we can do is National Socialism! I don’t question Mr. Covington’s courage, or his intellect, just his common sense.

The current racial problem, is not about whether the white race is the master race or whether there is such a thing as “Manifest Destiny.” The ruling class or business class does not have the same values as Christianity or the working class. The ruling class puts money and wealth before all other considerations, even life. To understand the ruling class watch the movie Rock. In the movie the ruling class never ever considers paying the Marines, in the end it only considers napalming the whole island. The ruling class will not hesitate to murder millions if it makes money. They will also not hesitate to replace the white workers with blacks, such as slaves, or as workers in Detroit. They will hire whoever is the cheapest worker.
Conservatives can only think in monetary terms and never in terms of security.
Ian Smith lost Southern Rhodesia for the same reason the whites lost South Africa, money. Race is a new concept which places the laws of nature and biology before money. All empires have been destroyed by the love of money.
Business people think that blacks and other immigrants are cheaper that the whites. That’s nonsense. In the end the blacks and others will destroy Civilization.
In order to survive we have to practice the laws of nature and one of those laws is the defense of territory. Another of those laws is are we a predator or the prey. The woolly mammoth, the passenger pigeon and the dodo bird are extinct; they were prey. Prey survive by over reproducing. All other races except the white race are over reproducing and are therefore prey races.
Now in business the predators are the businessmen, and the prey are the workers. To prevent the ruling class from reducing the white workers to a prey status and therefore extinction, they will be replaced by immigrants, the white working class has to become the government, not only to defend its territory but also the remove the ruling class and replace it with a government where biology comes before money.
Such a government is known as a National Socialist government because National Socialism means evolution. A small National Socialist government in the Northwest is at least a start that could lead to the survival of the white race and sustainable development.
The white race has to embrace evolution or it will become extinct.

Nice comment, Bryan. Hadn’t really thought about it that way. Migration has worked for the mexicans, why not us…
Regarding Mr. Webb’s comment on “they wouldn’t last 3 weeks with White soldiers pushing them south,” true, they wouldn’t, but this begs the question:
*Where are these White soldiers to come from? I don’t know if the United States Army is officially majority non-White now, but it certainly has to be approaching that point.
*Most of the United States military is now overseas trying to continue the two futile wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and otherwise trying to hold down the Empire. How many troops would actually be available to deal with an insurrection in the United States itself?
*Who will take command of these White soldiers, assuming that they could be produced more or less out of thin air? Who will give the necessary orders to these White soldiers? Someone sitting in the White House as commander in chief? How do we get someone like that into the Oval Office in a country where we are now effectively permanently outnumbered at the polls due to the antiquated electoral college system that gives deciding weight to the big states with the minority-heavy cities like New York, Texas, California, and Illinois?
I’m sorry, Mr. Webb, but realistically nothing of the kind is ever going to happen. There will be some kind of bust-up, an orderly secession and division of the racial spoils or otherwise. The Northwest Imperative at least ensures that the White man gets his cut.

There’s an important distinction to be made regarding your response to my post.
And that is, that, No, I do not have an alternative to the Northwest migration proposed by Mr. Covington.
I am sincerely intrigued by it and impressed with the thoughtfulness behind it, as I am with the general pattern that emerges from the brief description of his life as outlined by Greg Johnson. A pattern found in the lives of many of us who were and remain wholly dissatisfied with life in the West.
That is not my problem with him. It’s his conclusions, ie; National Socialism, that I object to.
My concern is not how we get to where we’re going so much as it is, what we’re going to be like, or, how are we going to live when we do.
As I’ve said before, no one can be certain as to how all of this is going to turn out, but we’d better be prepared for success.
Put baldly, my concern is that too many people who speak up for Whites seem to be attracted by something that could easily turn into Facism.
My concern is that Enlightenment metaphysics still has a firm grip around the psychic, intellectual and emotional life of White people. It is little more than a cul-de-sac. My concern is that the majority of Whites do not have an updated relationship with their own people. A huge part of that is owing to an education that is violently anti-historical, or only uses history for propaganda purposes.
I think, fundamentally, the Enlightenment is the culprit. It is a two-fold metaphysic, with Communism on one side and Facism on the other. In terms of Cultural History I see them as enmeshed with each other in a most unhealthy manner. You would never know it is possible to transcend these beliefs by talking to the people who hold them. Nor would you know that, in fact, to some extent, it’s been done, and that many are moving in that direction, albeit, instinctively.
In any event, Romanticism was a Sharp break with the rationalizing, sentimentalizing Enlightenment. The list of names properly subsumed by the term Romanticism is impressive and inspiring. It was, in brief, a response on their part, a reaction, if you will, to the Failure of the Enlightenment. And that the Enlightenment is a failure is something that ought to be perfectly obvious by now. My concern is that, if intelligent men and women can not see what is right in front of their eyes you can be sure that a fixed orientation is blocking the way. And that orientation is fundamentally Enlightenment in origin. Now, that is not to say that the structure of their thinking has not allowed them to make some valid propostions. It has. But I think ultimately their grasp of the problem and the solutions offered are both superficial and narrow.
The life and death of National Socialisms most conspicuous member is a case in point. Hitler was a man who probably misunderstood everything he read or thought about. He is perhaps the perfect example of an important leader of the 20th century who not only did not penetrate the smoke-screen of the times in which he lived, but was entirely the victim of it. That’s why he lost, so badly. Basically, he was attempting to reinforce ideals founded on a sentimentality. Today, those ideals need desperately to be transcended Yet all we seem to get are apologists.
That is my fundamental concern.
If what this gentleman offers proves the most practical solution to the creation of a new homeland for Whites I am prepared to stand alongside him and others. And I will do the same for any thing out there that shows the most promise and potential.
I only hope once that homeland is secured it will not be founded on anything even remotely resembling Enlightenment principles.

Hitler is the only leader in history who has built a state explicitly dedicated to promoting his race´s evolutionary interests, as its main object. That sounds very rational and not very sentimental to me. In fact, it is the only rational ideology.

Mr. Covington has dealt with the issue of National Socialism and its role in the Northwest independence struggle on several occasions, most recently in one of his audio file “Fireside Chats.” He is not unaware of the issue. May I suggest that you e-mail him at nwnet@earthlink.net and put your concerns to him directly? I think you may be surprised at what you hear.
Joe Webb argues that White guerilla groups don’t stand a chance against our white brothers in the US military, an argument relying on the assumption that the future military will still be staffed by a relevant percentage of Whites. But if we accept his argument, then we can conclude: (1) it might make sense to target Whites in the military and domestic security corps for recruitment, and (2) it also might be beneficial to encourage said Whites to defect and form a parallel military and intelligence apparatus for White Americans.
I really object to creating a state that is welcoming to all whites worldwide. This is because preserving ethnicity is very important as well. After all, that’s why Frank Salter calls it “ethnic” genetic interests as opposed to “racial” genetic interests.
Yes, but Frank salter shows that Germans and the English are TRULY the same genetically, for example — he shows that other races definitely are NOT. That was the whole point of his book. That race is a legitimate biological category genetically and that we have a high interest in preserving our own race from immigration from other races, NOT the English to the German and etc. In other words, European, or maybe northern European, is the proper ethnic terminology. England or Germany is just the country you live in. I.e. “diversity” is good only when it consists of different countries and languages, NOT different races. So our 1924 immigration law was in our interests. Nothing since then has been though…
“Joe Webb,” the NVA in HAC’s NW novels does not engage in “stand-up” fights with the amurrican army. Read HAC’s novels to better understand.

Thank you for your response Ulf. You’re using Romanticism in another sense. It’s not at all uncommon and it would be my pleasure to clarify the terms if I may.
Basically the term Romanticism has two primary referents:
1 – a general and permanent characteristic of mind, art and personality, found in all periods and in all cultures.
2 – a specific historical movement in art and ideas which occurred in Europe and America (and readers here will know what that means) in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
I was refering to the second one, but you were refering to the first one.
Also Ulf, NS might be “rational” but that doesn’t necessarily make it’s principles or goals realistic.
I don’t think it was then and so, obviously, I think it is even less so now.
As to what kind of state I’d prefer?
Well that’s the question, and my gut response would be to say that I would prefer something democratic, in the sense of supporting the basic freedoms of speech and assembly. A longer answer to that question will have to wait for another time.
But I am following the remarks made here in that regard with great interest.

But doesn´t the historical Romanticism you mention include romanticism in the first sense of the word? Isn´t it a reaction against Enlightenment (empiricism and such, founded on rationality)?
Hi Folks, thanks for comments. I do not deny the possibility or desirability of a retreat to the Northwest if it becomes possible or necessary. Nor do I depend on US military personnel being white. However, I think I notice in pictures of our troops in Iraq, that the combat troops are always or almost always white. It takes brains to operate all the gadgetry, and it takes courage, not anger, to fight, which black/brown troops have little of. I also imagine race war in the military, and we know who will win that.
I don’t understand Dedalus, your take that the Enlightenment spawned both communism and fascism. My understanding is that the Enlightenment led to excessive “thinking” from premises that are clearly wrong, equality, natural rights, and a belief in the fundamental rationality of man. Also, “natural goodness” and Universalism are profound snares.
Romanticism, in philosophy and poetry, is a mixed bag but clearly what stands out is “feeling” as opposed to “thinking.”
Emotion is the fundamental in man, and animals, and of course, man tries to regulate emotion, and that is good. However, hyper rationality drives our feelings. This relates to the KM implicit versus explicit discussions. Bad ideas (explicit) can suppress implicit biologically based feeling. Add fear to the mix, and true feelings can be heavily suppressed, especially if one is told that it is a moral lapse to think bad thought about the pussy cat, or blacks, Jews, etc.
Whites are especially vulnerable to what the evolutionary psychologists call altruistic punishment. Whites are open to strangers, somewhat democratic and individualist in nature, and are wiling to extend “humanity” to others, even those who do not return the favor. (That is our biological burden today. We have to become receptive to the notion that man is a killing machine, if we do not, we are done for.)
I just finished John Toland’s Adolf Hitler, a great biography according to folks I have checked with who know much more than I do about AH. Also, the overall ”tale” is amazing. Toland, a philosemite who , in the 60s and 70s used the ’6 million’, still remarks that AH was the 20th Century’s “Most remarkable man.”
I am not a NS in the old sense, and neither will I worship at an AH altar. However, given the world historic situation of Germany at that time, I cannot criticize AH beyond remarks about his mistakes, and his personal self-inflation which had him claiming that Providence was with him. I do not believe in Providence, neither am I religious. Emergency situations are not Peacetime normality.
Getting back to fascism, let’s define fascism. Here is a try: a mass political movement based on an organic, corporatist view of society as opposed to a class struggle (broken) view of society per communism.
The Liberal view is instrumentalist, that society is merely a collection of individuals/families who agree to respect property rights and basic liberties. Liberal society is not bound by group/racial loyalty, a common vision of past , present, and future, and evolves toward One World, without borders, etc. It therefore refuses strong group/tribe/racial identification, and operates on Rationalist Belief in Abstractions that cannot possibly do justice to what Human Beings biologically and psychologically are. Furthermore, Liberalism tends toward totalitarianism because of its ahistorical logic based “reasoning.” Almost 100% of Liberal Reasoning is false. Where a “true” sociology recognizes “personality,” the false liberal view is that we are just sort of interchangeable parts, consumers, and so on.
Fascism accepts marked individual differences and does not attempt to cookie-cutter stamp out individuals. Yes, one can argue that totalitarianism does just that. True, then the issue becomes how much was fascism totalitarian? Wartime is not Peacetime. And that is another discourse.
(That our current Order of Liberalism is actually using up social capital from an earlier time is clear to me. A dialectic of spending our social capital stored up from the past, and the daily generation of”true” feelings of “Being” (genetic messages that keep murmuring to us quietly) continues . KM says we must Explicitly reinforce these feelings in order to overcome the propaganda from our enemies. When we get explicit, we override the propaganda/lies and reinforce our normal true feelings about our people (and ourselves)).
Fascism arguably is in part connected to Romanticism if for no other reason than it elevates Feeling over Reason/Thinking. However, reasoning is not rejected, it is just tethered to a more biologically realistic definition of Man. Per KM and his theory of group/racial (conscious) strategies to promote group/racial interests in terms of Evolution, the racial group becomes the center of interest. This does not necessarily conform to Italian fascism, but it does in large part, although some would argue that Italian fascism was more nationalist than racist. That is a distinction that breaks down given that all states have been relatively racially homogenous until recently. (It is argued by some of our folks that Rome fell apart after allowing Asian and Middle Eastern immigrants in around the time of Christ. So, fascism gets racial, more or less. It also identifies an Enemy that is a threat to the Race or People. That threat has been Jewry in the case of Germany, and for AH and others in the nazi movement, Slavs and other white ethnys were denied full status as legit Whites. That certainly is the signal feature/fault of AH. Then, the cult of personality cannot be overlooked. AH was certainly brilliant, sociable, kind to friends and forgiving…but hell on his enemies. I do not personally see anything wrong with that, especially in Europe in the 30s-40s. Strong and impressive and charismatic leadership is required in a state of emergency. AH’s oratory probably remains unrivaled in our time.
So..fascism: mass movement, racialist/nationalist, Feelings oriented–even “fanatic” faith in one’s people, hatred of the Enemy, corporatist (not individualist), organic (not mechanical/legalist, collectivist to some large extent, History /Future oriented as opposed to the pleasures of the moment, militarist (you cannot fight otherwise), Strong charismatic Leader, and tendencies to informality as opposed to formalism with regard to a political constitution. This last remains problematic (the Fuhrer Prinzip for example.
In these ways, fascism does NOT stem from the Enlightenment. What is historically new in fascism is its “mass” base which must be integrated with a hierarchical principle. In other words, it is an Aristocratic view of human nature with the problem of accomodating “The People”. Harmonious Harmony was the medieval view of society, and presumably, under peacetime conditions, fascism would have probably tended toward a medieval view of monarchy with something like the College of Cardinals which elects the Pope. This schema has lasted a lot longer than any Democracy that we are familiar with.
Thus, LIberalism, the pimping little sister of communism, simply counts votes , whether in the marketplace or in the machinery of representational gov’t. Equality levels all things, its trajectory is toward nihilism. Historically, it will vanish because it does not accord with Mother Nature. Our problem is to figure out the next phase because it will either be us figuring it out, or barbarism of the inferior races, or rabbit warrens of the Chinese.
Having said this much, I am sorta fascist. However, under Peacetime conditions, our Anglo-Saxon racial genius has invented free speech, elected Kings, and formed political Constitutions and rule of law. Any Peacetime King who cannot respect these Traditions , is not a White man.
If you don’t love your people your are prone to being a World Citizen, an unloved and unloving person. World-Citizen could only be dreamed up by a deracinated, rootless, abstracted, Professor Windbag. but i ramble. I like the term, “revolutionary conservative” which some of our intellectual leaders have adopted. Surely, the fascist movements of our time have a lot to teach us.

Hello Everyone:
Before answering Ulf Larsen and Joe Webb I’d like to say Happy New Year once again, and thank Mr. Johnson for tolerating my many posts on Romanticism, and to say that this one will be the last.
The reason being that among my resolutions for the New Year I would like start a blog or site (too early to tell, many factors) where I can feel free to go in depth on this subject, panhandle for my efforts, and stop posting at other sites. Or, at least reduce such posting, considerably.
Finally, an important part of 2009 for me was the time I spent reading, and thinking about, the many ideas and issues raised at the TOO family sites, and participating via comments with the many writers and posters here.
So, with all the gratitude a man can muster, thankyou.
