Midwestern Homeland
Some folks in the movement have embraced the goal of establishing a Northwestern Homeland. The area is large, fertile, and remains overwhelmingly White. Hunter Wallace thinks that a Southern Homeland is the best hope. The area’s Whites have the strongest racial identity and secession is a part of their folk memory. Both of these visions pale in comparison to the one White racialist movement that came within a hairs breadth of obtaining true sovereignty and independence. Unfortunately, this flickering light of hope went out on June 8, 1978.
Personally, my money is on the Midwest in general and Indiana in particular. In fact, I believe this so strongly that I wrote a book about it: Hoosier Nation ($8.00+S&H). In it, I explain how our oft-overlooked history, our unique heritage, and our current demographic situation make Indiana the best place to light this fire. Some of you may remember that the last serious awakening of White American identity occurred here. If you guys would give us one more chance, we promise not to blow it this time.
Ultimately, I don’t believe any region is entirely out of the question and no region is a sure shot. The actual residents of the Pacific Northwest are so removed from what’s actually happening to their country that they have trouble understanding why anybody would struggle to get away from all the fun people appear to be having on their satellite television channels – The Johnson Paradox. As for the South, these are people who are a bit too comfortable with their plight. They even dress up in costumes on the weekend to relive their devastating defeat.

But, in all seriousness, the Southern Midwest was largely settled by yeomen farmers, White refugees of the Southern plantation economy. They didn’t bring much with them when they came, but they did bring a familiarity with Blacks and a hatred of hypocritical White elites. We have non-Whites, but they’re limited to densely populated urban ghettos. They’re not integrated into the land and the communities as “folk” in the same way they are in the South.
I’m not psychic, so I have no idea what our future beholds. I would rather not resort to secession. I would rather we as a whole country recapture the will to embrace our White American heritage and determine our destiny. If we can rekindle that, we might not have to resort to these kinds of desperate compromises. We surround them; we just need to awaken. Nothing is possible without that awakening and everything is possible with it.
Maybe we can have ourselves an American Homeland.

Indiana and the rest of the American Midwest are landlocked. That’s a complete show-stopper; any viable nation requires fair access to resources, and many of the world’s resources reside in its oceans.
Relying on some kind of treaty regarding a fair-weather coastal access corridor is unacceptable, as treaties are routinely broken and blockades routinely mounted in times of conflict. Accordingly, a Midwestern Homeland would have to extend to at least one of the three coastlines of the continental US.
Of course, it would be less than rational to allocate something from a mere third down to a fifth of the total geographical area of the continental US to its current and historical ethnic majority, especially while abandoning the remainder to an anticipated population explosion of non-Whites from dysfunctional overpopulated countries. It thus seems natural to suppose that the plan is to start small and then expand.
If not, then this really isn’t a very good plan at all, is it?
A glance at the globe reveals many land-locked nations that are quite viable. Switzerland tops the list.

As Greg suggested, many successful nations are land-locked. Additionally, a key point I make in both the book and the post is that these events could unfold in a variety of ways. It may well be that a resurgent Russia threatens to use sanctions on the U.S. government if it attempts to force us back into the union. Canada could be such a basketcase that the Midwest can easily access trade routes through it. There are just too many unknowns to engage in specific strategy.
The singular goal at this point is to awaken the will, in my opinion.
Switzerland has a carefully cultivated image of political neutrality and is a major seat of world banking. Other landlocked states like Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic are members of the EU superstate and thus belong to a unified economy which handles their imports and exports.
Absent some kind of North American Union, a Midwestern White homeland would have none of these advantages. Unfortunately, even if a NAU were to arise, it would be very hard to trust given its shady political provenance.
As far as other landlocked states are concerned, powerhouses are scarce; most are impoverished and more or less dependent on the good will of surrounding nations. Examples: Afghanistan, Andorra, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malawi, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Nepal, Niger, Paraguay, Rwanda, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Swaziland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vatican City, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Even pitiful, wimpy little Belgium has its own seaport! Shouldn’t a White Homeland at least have its own navy?
Thank you for posting this article. Whites definitely need to start thinking about secession, as it is the only viable option for a future for us on this continent. As I’ve said before, the time for political solutions has passed. America will never be a “white” nation. The demographic tipping point has already been passed. We must abandon the silly idea that we can “take this country back” and start thinking about alternatives. Secession is the best option I can think of.
I used to be a Southern nationalist for the same reasons as Hunter Wallace. Whites in the South are still mostly racially conscious and the region already has a history of secession. Also, even though the region is the most non-white region in the country, I think most of these non-whites would flee to the shelter of the U.S. and its fat welfare checks if the South were to declare independence. Still, I don’t believe that the majority of the South’s population can be sold on the idea of secession until it becomes too late, i.e. by the time whites in the South realize that this is their only real option, there will be so many non-whites that they will be out-voted.
Likewise, the Pacific Northwest is not the best option. There are too many liberals in the coastal regions of Washington and Oregon. However, if there was an intrastate secession movement in eastern Washington and Oregon, a Pacific Northwest homeland could still be an option.
I think the best option is the western, Midwest — Kansas, Nebraska, the Dakotas, Oklahoma, etc. The movement would not even have to be explicitly racial. The reason I say that this region is politically the best option is because it is one of the few places in America that is overwhelmingly white but where whites are still conservative. The day is fast approaching when electing a conservative president and a majority-conservative Congress will be impossible. The GOP will probably make large gains in 2010 and possibly win the White House in 2012 but this will be their last hurrah. It is just a matter of demographics. Texas is already majority non-white and, soon, all those anchor babies will start reaching voting age. Texas will flip from a reliably “red” state to a reliably “blue” state almost overnight. This is when the political situation in America will really get interesting and race and secession will start to be talked about openly. White conservatives will realize that secession is their only hope. I imagine that majority white, conservative states like the ones mentioned will start breaking away, leaving the debt-ridden, multicultural carcass of the former United States to rot.
There can be no White homeland anywhere in the USA, without the means to secure and defend its borders; and how can that happen, when ZOG can so easily put an end to it with non-White immigration and/or military intervention?
Secession is a joke, for it can only come about under the auspices of a White government, not before. And if there is a White government, then there would be no cause for secession.

I disagree. The last paragraph was the only part of the article that made no sense. I don’t know why some people insist on this ridiculous idea that we can take back the country. It is a demographic impossibility. Even if we kicked out all of the illegals and stopped all immigration, we would only be prolonging the day when whites will become minorities; we cannot stop it.
Whites need to start thinking outside the box now. In a few years, it will be virtually impossible to elect any national leader who is even slightly right of center — the idea that WNs will be able to politically gain power in this country is laughable. Somebody please explain to me how we are supposed to “recapture” America when half of the children being born in this country today are non-white and when at least 25-30% of whites in this country are incapable of being de-programmed from this multicultural b.s., even when they witness first-hand its destructive power. I know whites who have been robbed, raped, and had family members killed by black criminals and they still don’t get it. They say, “Well, there are bad white people, too.” It is impossible to under-estimate just how insanely brainwashed most white Americans are.
I concur with Larry. Not only kindergardeners but young women are now majority non-White. Replenishing the White flame in the entirety of the nation is but a mere, impeding dream. Not to mention, a layer of brainwashed Whites in population envelopes all states, and getting them to vote or peacefully accept the truth is miles way. Simple reform would be a mess and a mistake, filled with Jewspies and FBI thugs who would poison such a legal takeover from within.
Considering demographics, I trust that the beautiful Northwest would hold a strong base for White Nationalists and revolutionaries. We would stick to western Oregon and Washington, and certainly include Northern Idaho, where a decent amount of White militance is growing. Unfortunately for the Old South, Blacks have rotted her to the core, and even with strong White belts, one would have to include hurricane problems and close proximity to Washington DC, which is less of a concern in the NW. Whites are more individualistic there, and liberals with their pickets and media could storm the area, but Covington and myself know that inspired and encouraged Whites could eventually build a stronghold there.
