. . . Lastly I read Kevin Mac Donald’s Cultural Insurrections, his essays on western civilization, Jewish influence, and anti-Semitism. Jewish influence is a much-discussed subject—in private, that is. It is seldom the subject of dispassionate scientific analysis. MacDonald does not pull his punches. . . . Read the whole article.

  2. Paleoconservatism is slowly breaking apart over the issue of white nationalism. It seems to have slip three ways. The Takimag Crowd is openingly embracing white nationalists as intellectual allies. The Thomas Fleming/Chronicles Crowd is openly rejecting white nationalism in the spirit of reactionary utopianism and an almost fatalist desire to actually fail. The Buchanan/American Conservative Crowd is staying neutral and could go either way. Interesting stuff. Maybe when events show that a much more radical break with the past will be needed for the US then this relationship will become even more solid.

Must have been one helluva party.

The timing’s interesting and loyal readers and fans of KM are certainly permitted to ask themselves, outloud, why such a pleasant nod from Taki to KM should come so soon after Takimag has been pulled from TOO’s list of links.
In any event, I like both of these men, a lot, and will continue to enjoy their sites.

  4. This is excellent news and a testament to the decent characters of the men involved. I hope there will be additional funding for WN projects of a high quality nature.

  5. The Buchanan/American Conservative Crowd is staying neutral and could go either way

PJB has had no editorial role at TAC for quite a while. The current publisher-Ron Unz-
has written of his hostility to WN. And they no longer publish anything by Steve Sailer.

I wonder if Taki and Professor MacDonald will be collaborating. Maybe on Richard Spencer’s new project…?

“The Buchanan/American Conservative Crowd is staying neutral and could go either way.”

One of the feature articles in the most recent issue of The American Conservative is an anti-BNP diatribe written by an author who boasts of his Jewish heritage. I recently canceled my subscription to TAC. There is nothing “Conservative” about the magazine anymore. It should change its name to “The Anti-War Moderate” considering the the War in Afghanistan appears to be the only issue the editors care about.
