The Second Annual TOQ Essay Competition: Libertarianism & Racial Nationalism
The Occidental Quarterly is more than just a print journal and a website. It is the center of a world-wide network of scholars, activists, and their supporters, all of whom are concerned with the alarming decline in the power, pride, and demographic prospects of the white race relative to the other races.
In order to develop the TOQ network further in the direction of being a virtual think tank, we instituted an annual essay contest which offers a prize of $1,000.
The first contest was on “Secession and Racial Nationalism.” It was a resounding success. I am in the process of putting together the best essays as a special issue of TOQ. A number of these essays have already been published at TOQ Online. TOQ Online also contains extensive additional discussions of secession, and the topic will continue to be a focus in the future.
The second TOQ essay competition is on “Libertarianism and Racial Nationalism.” The deadline for entries is June 1, 2010. Please do your best to make this contest a success by publicizing it widely and perhaps even by participating yourself. Full details are here.

This may or may not be helpful. There is a white nation in existence encompassing all the diverse white peoples who choose to recognize it, in exactly the same way there is a Jewish nation that has been in existence for at least 2,000 years.
It’s the creation of a state or states within the white demographic nation that matters in the context of this web site. For example, the Jewish nation used to have a state in southwest Asia and lost it to Rome, but continued to have a Jewish nation. And now the Jewish nation has a state in southwest Asia again (for probably no more than another 20 years).
Same for the white peoples except we had many states within the white demographic nation and, even though we are losing our white states, the white nation continues in a pan-global way.
Developing models of statehood, vertical or horizontal, is what is needed.
These things do not spring out of the air. The formation of states needs a self-aware populace, even if outliers drift away, and that means speaking out of a white voice, not an American voice, a Constitutional voice, a Conservative voice, a Libertarian voice, an Enlightenment voice, a Fair Play voice, a Big Tent voice, a Republican voice, or any voice that begins with sentences significantly differently from, “As a white American, I insist…, or “As a white person, I demand…,” or “As a member of the diverse white peoples, I want….”
How to teach that white voice is the tricky proposition. When we have enough white people who can use that voice confidently, solutions will appear. If we try to leapfrog the development of our white voice, we are just postponing solutions.

Being a racial nationalist in the “socialist” and European sense, libertarianism (this zero degree of American thought) has always been a non-starter for me — like conservatism.

TOQ will be around many years, so perhaps we will do contests on all these topics and more.
Libertarianism is communism. The withering away of the State/public sphere so that there is only the private. It’s not the historic communism of the Soviet Union but it is communism nonetheless.
Someone could expand on that for an essay. I would do it myself, I was intending to, but I have no time. Also, I can’t be bothered bogging myself down in the writings of Rand, Hayek and Marx. Though if anyone wants to write the winning essay along those lines I only ask for a 10% cut. Fair, no?
Re: libertarianism is communism, we’re actually living through an inversion of Marxism. The workers of the world haven’t united. It’s in the working class neighborhoods that you’ll find the last bastions of white ethnocentrism. With the deliberate exception of the Jews, it’s the Western bourgeoisie who’ve become deracinated, individualistic citizens of the world:
