On the Visual Displacement of the White Race

I’ve been observing and studying the fall of Western man for about two decades now. For a number of years I could not really understand the process, but eventually I caught on. I’ve shared my fears and observations about our displacement with friends and family in a haphazard way but it was not until this winter that I systematically reached out to try to warn them. More than the election of the first African American president last fall, it was the sudden implosion of the economy that convinced me that my minimum duty was to at least pass on my estimation that a few basic measures of preventive self defense were in order.
Before talking to anyone, however, I pondered the likely response to my warnings. Like almost every White racialist out there, I’ve experienced rejection from nearly every White I’ve talked to. Why this is so remains a mystery to me, for the evidence of White decline is everywhere. Sure, humans are prone to denial, but how can it continue this far past the obvious?
Denial or not, I resolved to go one step beyond the writing I’ve been doing to actually talk to specific friends and family members about the elevated risks they face simply by being a White person in today’s America. Of particular concern are the naïve young women in my family.
Looking back on it, the impetus for this personal campaign probably came from a column by the editor of The Occidental Quarterly, Greg Johnson. Mr. Johnson used the occasion of the release of a low-keyed video about race in America to ponder precisely what I’m talking about. In his words: “When a White person awakens to our race’s peril, the first impulse—and the first duty—is to try to awaken others. But where to begin?”
His decision was to “highly recommend Craig Bodeker’s masterful 58 minute documentary A Conversation about Race. It is an ideal first step on the road to racial awakening.” Taking this advice, I started there, ordering a copy for my brother in Virginia. A blue collar man, he’s been hard hit his whole life by stagnant or declining wages, in part due to the massive immigration—legal and illegal—of laborers with little education. Take heart, I believe that Sailer’s analysis is ultimately correct. When all manner of logic, reason, and historical evidence are brought to bear on our present situation then one can only conclude that some kind of revolutionary change is in the offing. For that matter there are good reasons why something like this hasn’t already happened, in spite of the obviousness of our coming displacement. For one thing, middle class [suburban] life has been rather comfortable for White America, our people have been able to enjoy the bounty of previous generations without any of the hard choices that come with race-realism. Up til now the price that they’ve had to pay for this unnatural arrangement has not been worth upsetting the apple cart.
We must be patient. Just as a harvest can only be gathered at harvest time so it will be for us.
We must begin with First Principles.
1. Life’s only purpose is the transmission of itself through time.
2. Man is of Nature, and his Nature is tribal.
3. It is part of our Nature, when given to believe what is life-giving, to understand that not only is their a natural aristocracy amongst men, but also amongst peoples.
4. The ineffable majesty of the achievements of European Man could not have been wrought but for his unique genetic endowments. Western Civilization is only, ever, his extended phenotype.
5. If his blood is destroyed so too will be his civilization.
6. For him to live, he must have the necessary conditions to sustain his collective life, and to project it into the future, in perpetuity.
7. He must have the indispensable guarantor of his continued life: territory; a literally life-affirming philosophy that sanctions his thoughts and actions as liberalism in all its incarnations does now; elites that are of his own people that occupy the positions of power that determine his collective life; to cease to be self-estranged to his true interests–which is to forever be.
8. European Man enjoys a life that is his own, exclusive and inviolate. His civilization, his homelands, his people are his own, exist in and for their own right, and not merely as fodder to serve the ethnic interests of others.
9. All peoples have ethnic (genetic) interests, and all of what they do, vis-a-vis us and them, comes down to that in the end.
10. Those of the Third World that have been brought amongst us must be repatriated. It is a necessary condition for the continued life of our people. It was Power that brought them here; it will be Power that sees them leave. We cannot shed too many tears for the disaccommodated; their people will not perish as a result of it, but without it, ours will. The interests of individuals, cannot ultimately trump those of peoples, for the interests of peoples in being is greater.
[. . .] Whites really are apathetic about their own displacement. And the anti-white Leftism we see is continuously reinforced in advertising, the news media, the entertainment industry, the educational establishment, the non-profits, Jewish Leftism, other assorted leftwing activists, etc. The question remains: is this the cause of white apathy? Or merely the symptom of it?
I think if whites had a stronger genetic sense of identity–as other groups do–this would not be the case. This is not to say that whites are completely bereft of a racial identity, only that it is not as strong as it is in others, probably because of the evolutionary reasons that Kevin MacDonald has theorized, i.e., whites had to be less ethnocentric in order to adapt and survive in Europe, etc.
A group with a proper, instinctive sense of ethnoracial identity would never tolerate the kinds of things that whites are allowing to have happen to them. It is virtually unthinkable that an alienated elite would be ruling China or Israel, constantly disparaging their majority people. The people would rise up and throw this alienated elite out on a rail. Our people, instead, just laugh . . . shrug . . . open another cold one and turn to more important matters such as watching more Negro-ball. (Thank God we still have hockey, at least).
What does it take to wake white people up? Unfortunately, from what I have seen and learned, only when whites are directly and personally effected in a negative way by nonwhites do some of them start to wake up and smell the coffee. A while back, American Renaissance had a series on “how I saw the light” where they had readers describe their racial awakenings. For most, it was some kind of personal incident: a mugging, a rape, living overseas, having to go to an all non-white public school, etc. Unfortunately, if this is what it takes to wake white people up . . . it’s very hard to see what we ourselves can do in all this.
I think also of the many whites who are still living in South Africa–I think it’s still around 4 million, down from the 6 million before the end of apartheid. While it may not seem like much, it is roughly the size of white nations like New Zealand or Lithuania. And yet in the face of their own racial dispossession, many whites over there still share the liberal viewpoints on race. Someone like Dan Roodt, an Afrikaner who writes and speaks out on the situation, is considered “controversial.”
At best, we should continue to build a network of level headed race realists and nationalists. We should continue doing what we can, work on improving our arguments, etc. Eventually, more whites, but probably not all . . . will start to wake up and look for respectable organizations they can get involved with. When they do, we will be there for them.
While I enjoy Mr. Connelly’s writings, I have to disagree with him on this one. My level of optimism has gone up over the last several years. I believe people are becoming more and more aware of the issues that face our people. I will use as an example the immigration issue. When I first starting using NumbersUSA to fax my elected officials in about 2001 or so, there were maybe 12,000 regular faxers and we never thought we would get our message to the masses. Now there are well over 500,000 and everyone is aware of the issue. In just a few short years the issue became mainstream. I must have given out over a dozen of the Immigration by the Numbers videos. I plan to do the same thing with the A Conversation about Race video. I have purchased three so far and given out two. It won’t happen over night, but people will wake up. So now we have immigration and race covered with quality videos. If we can just get one on AIPAC and the neocons . . .
For those who ‘understand’, paleoconservatism really is nothing but a mask they don so as to be perceived ‘respectable’ by the feminine masses. But, and all importantly, that which is ‘respectable’ is killing us. Now, nearly half, or slightly more than half of the children under the age of five in America are non-White. Even if all immigration were cut off today our minority status is guaranteed. Non-Whites will never be co-opted into any ‘conservative’ movement simply because it is not in their group interests to do so, because they are genetically incapable of providing for themselves what they can filch from Whites. And, to ‘keep the country together’ we would have to accommodate said, to at least continue to some degree to give lip service to that which we know to be a lie–and as a result of these lies, which our people internalize, our race will wither on the vine. So, given that, that which paleos exhort–sealing our borders, libertarian decentralization, “citizenism”–will provide us not with an America that is a citadel, but one that is an execution chamber. Our task is therefore revolutionary.
You are absolutely correct, Captainchaos. Our task is indeed revolutionary: to wit, the detoxification of the almost hopelessly poisoned Anglo/white mindset.
Captain Chaos, was the paleoconservatism of the late Dr. Sam Francis a “mask” for respectability from the “feminine” masses? Also, Connelly’s point was that most whites simply don’t care about their displacement. If the election of Obama just makes them shrug, if the documentary “A Conversation about Race” makes them yawn . . . how is your approach going to change white behavior?
Paleo, it is too late in the day for any but the unvarnished truth. Consistent with the “worse is better” trope there will be much suffering for our people to come before they will be ready for action, much less to listen.
What we can say is this: ‘We will do whatever we must to remain forever ourselves.’
